Today we’re talking about outfits, but don’t worry — I’m not here to tell you about the usual jeans in every shade or plain white tees that we all already own.
Instead, I want to focus on those few key pieces that really make a difference and help you dive fully into the retrowave mood.
The first piece I really invested in is the denim jacket.
It’s one of those timeless items that never lets you down — perfect in spring, great even in winter if it’s not too cold, basically my second skin.
I’ve been wearing it everywhere for the last two years (except in summer, obviously 😅).
Now, I know — talking about brands isn’t exactly the coolest thing, but trust me, I’ve tried to save money without sacrificing quality.
After some research, the only thing that really convinced me was the denim weight.
And believe me, it’s the most important factor if you want something that will actually last.
I got mine on Amazon, a Levi’s jacket on sale for €70 — and for what it offers, I haven’t found anything better.
Perfect fit for a regular build: shoulders, arms, waist — everything in the right place.
In short, money well spent.
At the end of the post I’ll drop the exact model, because there are several shades, but the one I picked is “Broadway”, chosen so it can easily match with different denim tones, including black.
This way you can compare it with other brands and get an idea.
And while we’re at it… in the next few days I’ll show you other pieces that have helped me immerse even deeper into my new-retro universe, 24/7 — never too heavy, but always recognizable.
For others, yes, but especially for ourselves.
Being part of a movement like this, even if still undefined and often silent, is rewarding.
No need for everyone to know about it… we live it from the inside, each in our own way. 🌌

If you’ve found a better jacket, or a piece that you think deserves a spot in a retrowave wardrobe, write to me — I’m curious to compare notes and maybe discover new pieces to add to the collection. ⚡️
